It has been an uninterrupted family owned business producing ornamental nursery stock from seed or cuttings. The plants produced by Pittman Nursery Corporation provide the backbone for the green industry of Arkansas; a landscape is just not complete without Pittman plants! It is easy to imagine that there is not a yard in the South without Pittman plants complimenting the landscape! We have many varieties of Azaleas, Hollies, Maples, Oaks, groundcovers, perennials and bedding plants. We pride ourselves in producing the hardiest plants for the most persnickety buyer. We strive to satisfy the needs of building and landscape contractors, delivering the green goods order directly to their jobsite. Also, Pittman provides to the home gardeners through wholesaling green goods to garden centers, feed stores, and big box stores. city, state, and federal governments are allowed discounts off of retail for volume purchasing. Having seasonally over 150 employees, the Pittman Nursery staff takes pride in their jobs. From the crew that handles the soil mixes, to the planting of seeds and cuttings and those that maintain the health of the plants, and from the drivers that run the fleet, to the sales and office staff - being a part of the green industry is helping to better our world.
